Terms and Conditions of Online Consultation

1. Nature of Service

The online consultation provided by Plastic Surgeon Dr. Imran Pathan is intended for preliminary medical/surgical advice only. It does not substitute a physical examination, diagnostic tests, or in-person consultation where required.

2. Eligibility

By using this service, the patient confirms that they are:

  • At least 18 years of age, or
  • Using the service under the supervision/consent of a parent or legal guardian

3. Appointment & Confirmation

  • Consultation is confirmed only after successful payment.
  • Appointment time is subject to doctor availability.
  • The clinic reserves the right to reschedule or cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.

4. Patient Responsibility

  • The patient agrees to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information.
  • Any advice provided is based on the information shared.
  • The clinic shall not be liable for consequences arising from incorrect or incomplete information.

5. Consultation Process

  • Consultation will be conducted via video/audio call.
  • The patient must be available at the scheduled time.
  • Delays or absence from the patient’s side may lead to cancellation without refund.

6. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • All patient information is treated as confidential.
  • Data may be accessed by authorized clinic staff for operational purposes.
  • Sensitive data (images/reports) should be shared only when requested.

7. Data Usage & Consent

  • By using this service, the patient consents to the collection and use of personal and medical information for consultation purposes.
  • Data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or medical necessity.

8. Payment Terms

  • Consultation fees must be paid in advance via secure payment gateways such as Razorpay.
  • Payment once made is subject to the refund policy.

9. Refund & Rescheduling Policy

  • If the selected time slot is unavailable:
    – Patient may choose rescheduling or full refund
  • Cancellation by patient before scheduled time:
    – Refund may be considered at clinic discretion
  • Last-minute cancellation or no-show:
    – No refund
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 3–5 working days.

10. Medical Disclaimer

  • Online consultation provides general guidance based on available information.
  • Final diagnosis and treatment may require physical examination.
  • Outcomes and results may vary between individuals.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • The clinic and doctor shall not be liable for:
    • Misinterpretation of advice
    • Delayed medical care
    • Complications due to incomplete disclosure
  • The service is provided on a best-effort basis without guarantee of specific outcomes.

12. Technology & Connectivity

  • The clinic is not responsible for technical issues, including poor internet connection, call disruptions, or platform failures.
  • In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of your clinic’s location.

14. Modifications

The clinic reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

15. Consent

By booking an online consultation, the patient confirms that they have:
